Tahquamenon Falls is one of the scenic attractions in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Located between Paradise and Newberry, the Upper Falls plunges 48 feet over a 200-foot wide brink. Four miles downstream, the Lower Falls forms an island with many cascading waterfalls. The amber color is from tannin produced by the cedar trees.
