Great Lakes Ships Poster

Freighters, plying the water of the Great Lakes, range from 1000-foot super ships to “Salties” (an ocean going ship) and everything in between. Many ships have been lost on the Great Lakes. One of the most publicized being the Edmund Fitzgerald that sank with all 29 crewmen, November 10, 1975, in Lake Superior.
